A fully gimballed turret with body mass tracking for aiming purposes.

As depicted in the image, the targetting system is able to focus and lock onto the area of the approaching individual, including skiiers.

Targeting Method:

The on-board camera notes an approaching target

The programmed software then forms lines around the leading and aft edges of the motion, effectively enclosing a rectangle space around the entire target

The software then makes another horizontal line approximately 20% down from the top of the previously drawn rectangle space

There is now a new, more refined rectangle space enclosing the head of the approaching target, with empty blank space...

So, the software forms two more vertical lines in the new rectangle space at the leading and aft edge of the movement, refining the target zone to only the head of the target

Finally, the software targets the center of the final rectangle space, effectively aiming at the head of the target
