Project Write-Up

Future Revisions

This was the first official Chandley Technologies project and more or less spawned everything to come. It started off with a discussion of how entertaining to drive to a random point, set a target, and remotely fire a missile to scare the hell out of random drivers. This dream was quickly turned into reality... just without the mayhem associated with firing missiles at cars. The reality was NOT the rugged machine dreamed up, but it is still a snazzy little contraption.

A Mighty Machine

Ferocious, yes? Powered by a 9.6 volt battery pack, she can run for an incredible 9 minutes. It features a separate system for the firing mechanism, powered by a 9 volt battery set to be triggered by a mechanical switch installed on the car chassis. And just for fun, there is also a little red light attached to the top as a warning that shes armed and ready to kill. Quite obviously... she is in desparate need of an overhaul. Expect an update sometime in the near future.

The mechanical firing switch - closed.
