- The more advanced offspring of thermite; A higher powered mixture with a lower ignition temperature, so the magnesium ribbon is no longer necessary.

•• Circuit Board Etching Solution

- A homemade etching solution that is not only clear so you can see the progress of the etching, rather than using the common black solution of ferric chloride, but it is cheaper and etches faster.

•• Uranium Marbles

- Marbles made of uranium compound that happen to be green and slightly radioactive (as seen with a geiger counter); Fluoresce under UV light.

•• Americium Spinthariscope

- A simple device that is used to show the radioactive decay of a source in the form of sparkles of light. Ours is fueled by approx 0.2µg of americium (mainly alpha emission)
